"FATIMA" club workshop in AUCA Makerspace
On November 21, 2024, the "Fatima" Club hosted its first event of the academic year at the Makerspace building of AUCA, with 10 Afghan students in attendance. The event began with a tour of the Makerspace facilities, where participants were introduced to advanced technologies, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and electronics equipment, highlighting tools that bring creative ideas to life. Following the tour, students engaged in art therapy by creating mini yurt-shaped boxes, a relaxing and creative activity that also provided a memorable souvenir symbolizing Kyrgyzstan. The event concluded with a coffee break, allowing participants to connect and socialize. This event successfully combined exposure to cutting-edge technology with an opportunity for creative expression, contributing to the intellectual and social development of the students.
