Trip to Resort Team Building +Workshop for AUCA Fatima Club Members

On May 28, 2024, the AUCA Fatima Club held a team-building and 2 workshops focused on the "Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the 16 personality types" led by AUCA Sustainability Coordinator Mira Dzhakshylykova and "Career personal growth" led by Natalia Slastnikova.

A Career Personal Growth Workshop is a valuable resource for individuals seeking to enhance their professional skills and advance their careers. The session included self-assessment activities to help participants understand their strengths, weaknesses, and career aspirations. Key components covered skill development in areas like communication, leadership, and problem-solving, alongside strategies for effective networking and personal branding.

Participants benefited from setting clear career goals and creating actionable plans to achieve them. Additionally, this workshop offered guidance on job searching, resume writing, and interview preparation, boosting confidence in navigating the job market. Emphasis is also placed on maintaining a healthy work-life balance and adopting a mindset of continuous learning and improvement.

The session continued with the introduction to the MBTI framework, covering the four dichotomies: Extraversion vs. Introversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, and Judging vs. Perceiving. Participants completed a self-assessment to determine their MBTI types, followed by individual consultations for accurate identification.

Interactive group activities allowed members to explore their typical behaviors, communication styles, and contributions to a team setting. The speaker presented detailed profiles of each personality type, highlighting strengths and weaknesses, and engaged participants in reflective exercises. The workshop concluded with tailored career advice, emphasizing roles and environments where different personality types can thrive. The workshop enhanced self-awareness among members and fostered a better appreciation of team diversity, improving collaboration for future projects. Participants gained actionable insights into leveraging their strengths and addressing weaknesses in both personal development and team contributions. Positive feedback highlighted the value of the interactive format and practical guidance, with many expressing interest in further sessions on specific career skills and team-building activities.

In summary, the MBTI workshop was a successful initiative that achieved its objectives, equipping Fatima Club members to contribute effectively to the club and pursue fulfilling career paths. For further information or to participate in future workshops, please contact the AUCA Fatima Club.
