Welcome Back, AUCA Community!

September 14, 2026

A new academic year has arrived, and with it, the familiar buzz of energy that only comes when our campus fills up again. To every returning student, welcome back - we hope you carry with you the friendships, lessons, and memories from last year as you step into new challenges. And to our incoming freshmen, welcome to AUCA! You are now part of a community built on curiosity, critical thinking, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

This year brings fresh opportunities: new courses to explore, new professors to learn from, new clubs and organizations to join, and countless moments waiting to shape who you'll become. Whether you're walking into your first lecture or your last year before graduation, remember that growth rarely happens in comfort. Embrace the unfamiliar, ask the hard questions, and don't be afraid to challenge your own assumptions - that's what a liberal arts education is all about.

AUCA has always been more than lectures and exams. It's late-night study sessions with friends, spirited debates in seminar rooms, the pride of representing your country while learning about dozens of others, and the quiet realization that you've grown into someone you didn't expect to become.

As you settle into your schedules, we encourage you to get involved - join a student organization, attend a workshop, reach out to a professor whose class inspired you. Your years here are shaped as much by what happens outside the classroom as within it.

To our faculty and staff, thank you for your continued dedication to shaping the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and changemakers across Central Asia and beyond.

Here's to a year full of discovery, resilience, and growth. Welcome back, AUCA - let's make it a great one!
